Thank you Southern Utah
Southern Utah Cares would like to thank Southern Utah for the last couple of years that we have been blessed to serve along side all of you. At this time we are excited to announce the arrival of Dixie Serves into our community. Dixie Serves is a collaboration between United Way Dixie and Dixie State University to help organize the volunteer opportunities in our community. This new platform provides many new tools for the organizations and nonprofits that Southern Utah Cares didn’t include, so we are joining forces with them to help promote service in Southern Utah. So at this time Southern Utah Cares is now referring all organizations and members of the community to head on over to DixieServes.org to post or find volunteer opportunities for Southern Utah.
So what does this mean for Southern Utah Cares? Even though Southern Utah Cares is no longer posting events on our site, we certainly aren’t going any where. We will continue to be a place to find information about organizations through our directory. We will continue to post about all the great stuff going on in our news section and social media, which if you haven’t joined yet you can by following the links below. We are going to work with DixieServes to make sure it grows and becomes a great resource in our community to help promote service and volunteerism. The arrival of Dixie Serves also opens up an exciting opportunity for us at Southern Utah Cares to pivot a little to create a new resource that we are working on and can’t wait to roll out when it is ready. As this is all just a passion project for us that we do on the side, we ask for your patience and want to express our extreme gratitude for all the love and reception that we’ve felt over the last three years.
