On May 13, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Washington County and its partners will host a public lands clean up in the Bloomington area of St. George, Utah west of Navajo Drive.
On April 1, 2017, dozens of Washington County residents cleaned up 30-cubic-yards of trash from public lands in the area, significantly improving a recreation area that was once an eye sore. But more help is needed to beautify the area and the county is asking the public’s help with trash removal.
The Give Your Land a Hand and Public Lands Clean Up committee will provide trash bags and dumpsters. Participants are asked to supply their own gloves, water and snacks for the event and to wear protective clothing such as boots, hats, long sleeve shirts and long pants.
