Once again the Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle is accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations that offer programs and projects for women and girls in the southern Utah, Mesquite, Nevada, and northwest Arizona region.
Formed in May, 2013, the Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle is an active and fun community of local women, diverse in interests and backgrounds, who pool their friendship, intellect and resources to effect change for women and girls in the “three corners” region. The Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle is proud to be a fund of The Community Foundation of Utah (utahcf.org).
Through philanthropic involvement the giving circle empowers women and girls in our region by funding projects and programs in the areas of:
  • Safety and Health
  • Education
  • Economic Advancement and Leadership
In the past 4 years, by vote of the membership, the giving circle has awarded a total of almost $64,000 to local nonprofits including the Assistance League of Southern Utah, The Learning Center for Families, the Doctors’ Volunteer Clinic, The Dove Center, Southwest Applied Technology College, Memory Matters Utah/Nevada, Red Rock Center for Independence, and Cherish Families.
On Monday, August 1, 2017 the grant application for the January, 2018 grants will be posted and can be downloaded from our website: http://wp.me/P3TFRQ-l2
The deadline for the applications to be received is September 30, 2017.
For your reference, along with the grant application we have also posted the evaluation sheet that we will use to select the finalists for the grants.
All other details of the application process can be found in the application document on the website.
We encourage you to apply and to forward this email to any 501(c) (3) nonprofit in our area that you think might be interested.
