The Three Corners Women’s Giving Circle invites your 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to submit a proposal for a grant from our giving circle fund.  The deadline for application is Sept. 30th.

The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society(ADS) is gearing up for its fall series of fundraisers.  They have three great events planned, offering a chance for everybody to get involved and have a fun time while supporting a great organization along the way.

Behind the Eight Ball

August 8th @ 8:08 pm

To help raise funds for emergency repairs the DiFiore Center is hosting a reunion concert for the Utah Jazz Quintet.  The concert will be on 8/8, will start at 8:08, and will run for 88 minutes.

Discover Independence One Hour Tour

August 13th or 25th @ 4:30 – 5:30 pm

In just 60 minutes, you’ll learn how Red Rock Center for Independence helps people with disabilities in a 9 county area and I guarantee you’ll be impressed!

The Learning Center for Families – Corporate Sports Challenge

August 14th @ 8 am – 1 pm

Register your own team of 7 (each team must include at least one male and one female age 18+) or register as singles and play on a Networking Team. Activities will include fun stuff like dodge ball, kickball, water roller balls, climbing wall, volleyball, crazy cart relay, tug-o-war and more!

Habitat for Humanity Celebrity Server Night

August 20th @ 6 – 8 pm

Habitat for Humanity is having a “Celebrity Server” night at Golden Corral. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids and you can purchase them at the ReStore. This is a great way to support Habitat while having a fun dinner out with your family!

Tee’d Off About Hunger Golf Tournament

August 29th @ 8 am – 12 pm

Come play, get a team together, or even be a corporate sponsor.  All funds raised are going to support the Utah Food Bank.

This 3 day course (July 29th, August 5 & 12th) features curriculum from Parenting the Love and Logic Way.  Please plan on attending all sessions.

Second Saturday Swing Dance

August 8th @ 7:30 – 10:30 pm

Come join the fun and do some Lindyhop, Balboa, Charleston, and more.  Cost is $5 per person plus $1 for lesson (held from 7:30-8:30). We welcome dancers of all ages and no experience or partner required!

Come enjoy our 10 movies for $10 dollars.  Showing Monday Through Friday at Pineview, Sunset, and Mainstreet theatres.  Check out the calendar event to see which movies are playing when.

George Streetfest on Main is southern Utah’s new first Friday celebration. The purpose of this event is to promote St. George’s downtown historic district, and to celebrate the best of southern Utah.

Weekly farmers market featuring local seasonal farm fresh produce, food products and local artisans. Anything and everything handmade from Washington and Iron County.

Sunset on the Square

August 14th & 28th @ 5 – 9 pm

Grab a blanket or chairs and bring the whole family down to enjoy a movie in Town Square Park. August 14th will feature “Wreck It Ralph,” and on August 28th they will be showing “The Legend of Zorro.”

August 8th, 22nd, & 29th @ 9 pm

Located at the Hurricane City Pool, the movie for August 8th is “RV.” On August 22nd there is a Back to School party at the Community Center and they will be showing “Cinderella.”  On August 29th they will be having a Red Rock football rendezvous kickoff party at Hurricane High School and showing “Little Giants.”

Summer Concerts in the Park

Monthly UNA networking event, this month held at the Silver Reef Museum.

UNA Annual Nonprofit Conference

Sept. 24 @ 9 am – 5 pm

This annual event is hosted by the Utah Nonprofits Association and is a signature part of the nonprofit community in Utah. Our keynote speaker will be well-known nonprofit expert Marc A. Pitman.  Space is limited so register today! All forms and payment must be received by September 1st.
