Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD)
To promote opportunities for persons with disabilities to participate fully in Utah life. People with the following disabilities are eligible for services if they meet requirements outlined by the Division: Mental Retardation or related condition, Cerebral Palsy, some forms of Autism, severe Epilepsy and Brain Injury or physical disability (the loss of two or more limbs).
Services: The Division offers services and support that assists people to live, learn and work as part of their communities, including Family support, respite, supported employment, other day services, and a range of residential supports from personal assistance or companion services to 24-hour supervised living.
Eligibility: Varies depending on program. Check with appropriate worker.
Fee: Most are free of charge
Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday – Thursday
